We are a partnership between the universities of Leiden, Amsterdam (UvA) and Paris II Panthéon-Assas. Our research group has been working for a few years on the comparison between Dutch and French law.
The group is made up of researchers – PhD students, young doctors and professors – coming from both systems, and currently focuses on the reform of the law of obligations. In that regard, the proposals published by the French Ministry of Justice on April 29th 2016 has oriented our work towards those aspects of Civil Liability our Dutch members were particularly interested in.
Fruit d’un partenariat entre les universités de Leiden, Amsterdam (UvA) et Paris II Panthéon-Assas notre groupe de recherche Grotius-Pothier travaille depuis quelques années sur la comparaison entre les droits Néerlandais et Français.
Ce groupe est composé de chercheurs – doctorants, jeunes docteurs et professeurs – venant des deux systèmes, et se concentre actuellement sur la réforme du droit des obligations. A cet égard, l’avant-projet publié par la Chancellerie le 29 avril dernier a orienté nos recherches vers certains aspects du droit de la responsabilité civile pour lesquels nos partenaires néerlandais ont témoigné un vif intérêt.
Wij zijn een onderzoeks partnerschap tussen de universiteiten Leiden, Amsterdam (UvA) en Paris II Panthéon-Assas. Wij werken enkele jaren aan vergelijkend recht tussen de Franse en Nederlandse rechtssystemen.
De groep bestaat uit doctoraal studenten, jonge doctoren en professoren van beide systemen, en werkt nu aan hervormingen van verbintenissenrecht. Het voorstel van het Franse Ministerie van Justitie van 29 april 2016 heeft ons werk gericht op de aspecten van burgerlijke aansprakelijkheid waarin onze Nederlandse collegas vooral geïnteresseerd waren.
